If the drive can be read via new a USB cable or on a new PC, then the drive is working fine I can confirm that WD Security is installable AND does work on MacOS Catalina on MacBook Pro (late 2014) models! Install WD security and run the app. Switch a USB port/cable and replug it to your computer.
